Six Sigma Green Belt

Six Sigma Green Belt Team Members are selected to serve on project executions based on their training and "subject matter expertise". Six Sigma Green Belt Team Members serve under the direction and guidance of the Black Belt or Green Belt Project Manager during the execution of the detailed DMAIC project execution phases.

Six Sigma today is used across a wide range of industries like banking, business process outsourcing, telecommunications, insurance, construction, healthcare, and software. Many global companies like The Dow Chemical, General Electric, Motorola, Allied Signal, Honeywell, Honda, Sony, Cannon, Polaroid, Texas Instruments and Whirlpool are using the Six Sigma methodology.

There are numerous business systems and processes that have to be taken care of in an organization. It is important that defects be removed and variation reduced or eliminated at the lowest levels of every process, to assist in delighting customers and achievement of desired business results.. With an increasing number of companies using six sigma methods for strategic management, there are ample job opportunities for Six Sigma Green Belt professionals.

Six Sigma Green Belts serve as a specially trained team member on projects that reside within their specific job function or area. Green Belts serve on DMAIC project execution less than full time, typically 20% to 40% of their work time during the project execution process.

Our Six Sigma Green Belt on line training provides participants with enhanced problem solving skills and statistical methods the team will use during the project execution phases of Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control. The develop a constancy of purpose, gain a personal resolve for excellence in all they do towards delighting their customers, and "all they do" is linked directly into the organizations desired business results (purposes or strategic plans).

The Green Belt has two primary tasks: first, to help successfully deploy Six Sigma techniques, and second, to lead small-scale improvement projects within their respective areas. As a support population, Green Belts can do much of the legwork in gathering data and executing experiments in support of a Black Belt project.

Green Belts are practitioners that spend approximately 25% of their time on Six Sigma projects of their own or in support of Black Belt projects. During the Six Sigma Green Belt Training you will learn how to use many of the Six Sigma problem-solving methods and statistical tools to contribute to the success of your organization.

Whether in healthcare, finance, manufacturing, government, non- profit or any other for profit type of service or product based industry… Six Sigma Green Belt Training is ideal for anyone looking to create most opportunities regarding their career. Participants will learn how to apply six sigma improvement methods to assist in gaining desired business process improvements.

Champions, Black Belt Project Managers, Green Belt Project Managers, Green Belt Team Members, and other stakeholders carry out execution Six Sigma projects that assist the achievement of the strategic plans.
